A wonderful gift for any child!
I have 2 sons ages 2 1/2 and 4 who both adore Elmo! I got the Elmo doll for my youngest last year and he has played with it so much he broke it. It has been his favorite toy! We went to Toys R Us and played with this doll after I had ordered it,and he could not stop laughing! This one is sure to please any little toddler this Christmas!
Waste of money and annoying
My mother in law purchased this for my 21 month old son and within 3 days it's already having issues. The leg no longer moves, it just makes a clicking sound like it's not engaging. Several other parts have slowly started to stop working, all within 2 weeks of opening.
It's also incredibly annoying. No volume control combined with a pretty loud "voice" is enough to send someone over the edge.
Elmo Live
My husband and I went ga-ga over this toy last weekend in Target. We walked away once but found ourselves back in front of him again, listening, watching in amazment! AND he only say one thing until you take him home, and watch out! He's so entertaining and I'm 34. We got it for our niece for Xmas. I immediately took him out of the box when we got home and played with him for an hour. Buy this one, you WON"T BE SORRY!
